  1. The online portal (The Greek Public Employment Service’s new Portal) is aimed at job seekers and employers looking for employees. The user/visitor can use the Greek Public Employment Service’s new Portal only in a legal way and for legal purposes, within the intended and acceptable uses defined by the Greek Public Employment Service. Any commercial use of the content of the web portal is expressly prohibited and the same applies for any other use thereof without the prior written permission of the Greek Public Employment Service. The content of the web portal is subject to changes at the discretion of the Greek Public Employment Service without notice. Any illegal use entitles the Greek Public Employment Service to suspend/terminate the user's/visitor's access to the web portal without any relevant prior notice.    

  2. The web portal itself and all its content are the intellectual property of the Greek Public Employment Service, with the exception of the expressly recognized and reserved rights of third parties. Therefore, with regard to the copyrights of the Greek Public Employment Service, it is expressly prohibited to reproduce, republish, copy, store, sell, transmit, distribute, publish, perform, load (download), translate, modify in any way, partially or in summary, without the prior express consent of DYPA. Exceptionally, the individual storage and copy of parts of the content on a simple personal computer is permitted for strictly personal use without the intention of commercial or other exploitation and always under the condition of mentioning the source of its origin, without this implying the granting of intellectual property rights. For any questions regarding the rights to reproduce any part of the content of the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal, as well as for requests to the Greek Public Employment Service regarding its consent to the reproduction of their content, the user/visitor may contact the Greek Public Employment Service through the "Contact Form" which is posted on the new portal.

  3. The content of Greek Public Employment Service’s new Portal is available as is and the Greek Public Employment Service is not liable as to the completeness, correctness, timeliness, merchantability, non-infringement or suitability of such content for any use, application or purpose. The Greek Public Employment Service is not responsible for any damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services and contents of the online portal which he accesses on his own initiative and responsibility.

  4. The Greek Public Employment Service will make every possible effort to ensure that the online portal is available and fully functional on a continuous basis. The Greek Public Employment Service is not responsible for any loss or damage arising to a user/visitor from the unavailability due to damage or planned maintenance of the information system (IT) of the Greek Public Employment Service.

  5. The Greek Public Employment Service will make every possible effort to ensure that viruses and other harmful elements do not appear on the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal, but declares that it is not responsible for any damage or loss due to viruses and other harmful elements that may occur to users/visitors of the web portal or of another site server through which the content of the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal is received.

  6. The The Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal provides access to third-party websites through appropriate links (links, hyperlinks) or advertising banners. The links in question have been placed exclusively for the convenience of visitors / users of the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal, while the websites to which they refer are subject to the respective terms of use of these websites. The placement of links and advertising banners does not constitute an indication of approval or acceptance of the content of these websites by the Greek Public Employment Service, which also bears no responsibility for their content nor for the privacy protection practices or the accuracy of the information is contained therein. Access to them is the sole responsibility of the users/visitors whose access it. This web portal also includes interactive areas. The visitor/user must be aware that when he voluntarily discloses his personal information (e.g. username, e-mail address) in an interaction area of the web portal, said information together with actual information disclosed in his communication may be collected, be associated with and used by third parties and may result in "unsolicited" third party messaging. Such actions are not controlled by the Greek Public Employment Service and the latter does not guarantee whether it is possible to know the identity of the visitor/user using methods that it cannot control.

  7. The Greek Public Employment Service may collect non-personal identification information of the users of the web portal using corresponding technologies, such as cookies or the tracking of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Non-personal information may also include the type of browser used by the visiting user, the type of computer, its operating system, Internet service providers and other such information. In addition, the Greek Public Employment Service’s system automatically collects information about the locations visited by its visitor/user and about the links to third-party websites that he may choose through the use of the web portal. The visitor/user of the web portal can set his web browser in such a way that it either warns him about the use of cookies in specific services or does not allow the acceptance of the use of cookies under any circumstances. In the event that the visiting user of the specific services and pages does not wish to use cookies for his identification, he cannot have further access to these services.

  8. It is prohibited for users/visitors to violate or attempt to violate the security of the web portal, such as indicatively using user/visitor personal data for a purpose other than what is permitted, obstructing the access of the web portal to third parties, etc. This violation may lead to civil and criminal prosecutions.

  9. Use of the web portal is subject to these terms.The use of the web portal assumes that the visitor/user has carefully read and accepted the terms of use. In the event that a visitor/user does not agree with the terms of use of this online portal, he must not use the services and its content. These terms of use apply to the entire content of the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal.

  10. The Greek Public Employment Service may modify these terms of use at any time and without notice. For this reason, users/visitors are requested to check the terms of use of the Greek Public Employment Service’s web portal at Ordinary intervals.

  11. These terms of use of the web portal, as well as any modification or change thereof, are governed by the applicable national and Community law and relevant international treaties. For any dispute that may arise from the application of these terms and the general use of the web portal, the courts of Athens shall be competent and the Greek law shall apply.
